  Care:

  Teak is inherently anti-microbial and anti-rot. The following items are required in order to remove any stain from the wood:

   

  1. Water and dish detergent in a gallon
  2. bleach, 1 cup
  3. plastic brush with a soft bristle
  4. cleanser for teak (if available)
  5. Clear the area around you now. If you plan to use inside teak wood furniture, be sure the room you choose has good ventilation. For this, you might need to spread out a drop cloth.
  6. Use a soft brush and a mild cleaning agent to gently scrub the furniture. You can clean teak using either a store-bought or homemade solution.
  7. In the homemade solution is to add a small amount of dishwashing detergent to a solution made consisting of one gallon of water and one cup of bleach.
  8. To prevent surface damage, apply the cleaner using a soft plastic brush.
